Summer Outfits
What makes an outfit a summer outfit? As summer approaches, I have been thinking about this. If you’ve read my blog before, you have probably realized that I am big on seasonal aesthetics. However, when it comes to summer I find that this season doesn’t have a defined aesthetic that is closely associated with it. Spring has pastel colors, florals, and feminine whimsical detailing. Fall has thicker knit fabrics, red, orange, yellow, and brown hues, and prints of autumn leaves. Winter has faux fur trims, big fluffy jackets and boots, red, green, white, and gray colors, with fleece lined tights under your puffy skirt.
Summer seems to lack a distinct color scheme or defined detailing. The only elements that quickly come to mind are crop tops and mini skirts. I find that sunset color schemes give summer vibes, but they have never been closely associated with summer. I also realized that all of my outfits that scream summer are all different, with the only thing they have in common being that most of them have crop tops and mini skirts. For this blogpost I was originally going to share some of my favorite summer outfits, along with a few outfit combinations I made from just browsing the internet. However, I realized that I don’t actually have pictures of me in my best summer outfits, so in this post I will just be sharing outfits I made while browsing the internet.
