Experimenting With Makeup During February Break

Image
I am currently writing this while on February break. (I won’t be by the time this blog is up) Since I haven’t had to get up at 5:50 every morning I have had the leisure to do my makeup! 😀 I finally got to use this Color Pop palette I bought a few weeks ago to give my summer looks some extra spunk!  It has all the colors I will ever need! And it has glitter! It really is perfect for me since I don’t usually want to do makeup with my more girly and feminine looks. I really like how it has glitter in different shades of each color, so if I want to do a blue makeup look, I don’t have to buy a whole bunch of different palates. So I think I finally found my go to makeup look. I am very new to this whole makeup thing because most days I don’t even bother putting concealer under my eyes. For context I only really use concealer when doing a makeup look to (mostly) conceal my dark circles because they are my biggest insecurity. Plus nobody at high school gives a 💩 about what other kids are w

Outfit Basics Every Girl Needs

One of my best pieces of closet advice is to have a combination of mass produced basics and unique more intricate designs in your closet. It is good to have a fair amount of mass produced basics in your closet because they are easily replaceable. The other day I had to choose between wearing a basic white top from Shein and my favorite Liz Lisa top (which is a cream color). I chose to wear the Shein top on the off chance that my clothes would get dirty in jewelry class. I’m glad I did because later that day my backpack fell off my shoulder and yanked my arm downwards. The hot cocoa that I was holding went down with my arm and the hot cocoa went flying all over my white sweater! 😭. I know if that was my Liz Lisa sweater, which I had only owned for a few months at that point, would have been permanently ruined. I would have been devastated because I had to BEG my parents to get it for my birthday, and that sweater was no longer being sold on the Liz Lisa website. I’d consider myself l

Virtual Scrapbooking

Image
Hello world! Today I wanted to get on here and talk about something I have enjoyed doing recently. Virtual Scrapbooking! Soooooooo… What is virtual scrapbooking? Everyone’s definition is probably different depending on how they do it, but I think the name speaks for itself. It’s creating a scrapbook using digital means instead of paper. I don’t actually remember how I first got into virtual scrapbooking. I’m pretty sure I just came up with the idea of making a scrapbook because I had recently gone traveling with a friend, and since I don’t have nice days like that often and I have a bad memory, I decided to make a scrapbook. Scrapbooking with paper and stickers and such takes money and it makes a mess, so I just pulled out my phone and did it digitally because it’s easier and virtually free. The app I use is Ibis Paint X. I probably won’t give a tutorial because it’s not hard at all to use. However if you do plan on printing out your finished pages, I would recommend making sure the

Valentines Day Outfits at the Mall

Image
Hello everyone! It was -6 degrees (F) yesterday! Naturally, I didn’t anticipate going out. So I’m lying in my bed doing nothing when my Dad tells me that he is going to the mall to get his phone fixed and asks me if I want to go. I had an order from Hot Topic that came in four days ago. The thing about Hot Topic orders is that the order can be sent back to the wearhouse if you don’t pick it up within a week. So I went to get it over with since I didn’t want to risk missing my deadline. The problem was that I had been lying in bed all day doing nothing. I had MAJOR bed head, I hadn’t brushed my teeth, I was in my pajamas, and I was on my period. My Dad was leaving right there and then so I only had time to grab some gloves and put on my white puffer jacket which has a big orange stain on it despite the fact that I barely ever wear it. I went to the mall PRAYING that I wouldn’t run into anyone I know. I was surprised that there were so many people at the mall who were only wearing a ho
