My Favorite Spring Fashion Accents
Out of all the seasonal fashion aesthetics, spring fashion is my favorite because it embraces romantic and feminine detailing the most. I have been swept up by spring fashion as of late. I have become addicted to the beauty of the different accents that make up spring fashion. As such, I am dedicating this blogpost my favorite spring fashion accents.
Sheer Cami Tops:
Cami tops are a staple of spring fashion. They are lightweight and breezy, making them perfect for warmer weather. However, cami tops can be easily layered for those transitional spring days when the weather is still a bit chilly. Camis often have feminine details like lace, bows, fabric roses, ruffles, and embroidered floral prints. Romantic and feminine details are the reason I love the spring seasonal aesthetic so much, so the more, the better. Cami tops are very versatile. They can be dressed up or down, so you get more bang for your buck. As I mentioned in my “What I Want to See When I Google Spring Outfits” blogpost, sheer fabric is a staple of spring fashion. So using sheer fabrics on a cami top is pure genius.
Sheer Tops, Sheer Sleeves, and Sheer Fabric on the Bottom of a Mini Skirt:
Sheer fabrics are great for spring ensembles. Sheer fabric has a romantic and ethereal quality to it, which fits well with the whimsical aesthetic that is associated with spring. Furthermore this fabric is lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for warmer weather when you want to feel comfortable. Sheer fabrics are perfect for layering and can add depth and texture to an outfit when combined with other fabrics.
Ruffle Hem:
Adding ruffles to the hem of a jacket, skirt, or top adds life to a spring outfit by giving it a feminine and playful touch. Ruffle hems make a garment more interesting to look at.
Fabric roses:
Adding a little rose to the neckline of a basic cami, around the sleeves of a top, on the waistband of a skirt, or on a bracelet gives an otherwise boring garment a playful touch of spring.
